My new yeast free diet

I have dealt with issues as far back as the age of 11 or 12 with yeast growth in my body.  Spent many miserable years not understanding what was going on.  I was the one who figured it out, not the countless doctors I have visited with my issues.

I found a supplement called Candex which worked for years, but as of lately has began to fail.  I have added a probiotic as well, still had major issues, migraines, exhaustion, body aches (flu like), shortness of breath, just to name a few. I broke down and went to the doctor again, who did as they all do with this issue, acts like its just a run of the mill yeast infection.  So I went home and educated myself, read about how the food I eat is fighting against my body.  It has created more of a food allergy in my system going untreated for so long.  I was frustrated, mad and just wanted to cry about how my life was about to change.  The more I read the more upset I got, the issue is food is not like what we had growing up.  Think about it, when you would eat an apple it would start to turn brown after a few minutes.  Today it can sit all day and never turn brown, that is just one example I can think of off the top of my head.

I have changed what I eat to a yeast free diet, which means no sugar, no artificial sweeteners, no vinegar or items with it.  No cheese, (can have mozzarella and goat), No cured meat, no canned soups, no frozen meals, very few fruits are approved, no caffeine. (I do admit to having 2 cups of coffee every morning with some ID in it), yeast, and no gluten.

So sitting with tears I was thinking what is left?  The first week I had cucumbers, tomatoes, zucchini, and squash.  I read many reports and figured out a couple of things I could add.  I do that each week, adding something different and new that is acceptable.  Later I plan on posting that for the ones who are like me.  11 weeks in, I feel better and the bright side have dropped 13 pounds not even trying.  I believe the antibiotic free chicken and beef taste so much better than the other anyway.
More to come soon.......

First Attempt of a blogger

As I go through my week I feel I have loads to say about everything.  My 15 hours a week driving to work and back gives me all kinds of ideas, so I think ohh I could write a blog about that!  I have sat here with my mind completly blank, wondering what was I thinking?  I do hope to have some ideas come to me in brilliantly!
